Happy Valentine's Day

Well, well, well... I should be mugging hard now for my physics test which is starting in 9 hours time, or at least study the crime and punishment test on thursday. But I don't feel like doing so. Hahaz..

Yeah... I know. It's Valentine's Day. It's the day when couples fret on how to impress their dates and the day when all singles wish that they can ignore all the lovely-dovey couples on the streets and pretend that it's just a normal day. Oh well, I belong to the latter. Been Valentine-less for... 4 years? =X Nevermind, I know somewhere out there, there are people worse than me. -evil grin-

Barely, into 1 hour of 14 feb, I received my 1st vday gift, courtesy of Aik Hong. It's staple bullets with 'happy vday' and my name written on top of the liquid paper-ed surface. Although it's small and simple, I appreciate the effort! =)

Hmm, I think 14 feb should not only be the day when everybody show their affections to their loved ones specially through material means, eg. elaborate bouquets of flowers, expensive chocolates. I think people can bring the meaning of love higher by looking beyond these expensive gifts. Just reflect on what does love mean to you and think of the past gestures of love by your friends and family. Even the gesture was just a 'don't worry' when you were down, I think it's enough for you to be glad that at least you were cared about and being loved as a friend/family.

I think I should go sleep now. Don't know why suddenly so emo. Hahaz... Should be more kan cheong for my tests. Good night!
