Life's like this...

First entry in 2007!

Hahaz... As predicted, I didn't post on New Year's eve. I was out the whole day! Hmm... Went car hunting with my family. First, we went to Nissan's showroom and test-drived Nissan Latio, it's not bad. The sales agent is also very nice, she came down specially for the test-drive though she's not on duty that day. Then we went to Subaru's showroom which is next door. Hmm.. I don't really fancy Subaru's cars. I think they give me an 'ah-beng' feel. Hahaz.. Then we went test-drive Toyota's Vioz. The car is small, but the engine is damn noisy and the steering wheel is very heavy. Went to Mazda's showroom too. I like Mazda 3!!! But too bad, it's a bit out of budget and has a higher fuel consumption. So I think most likely, we will get Nissan's Latio, I like their keyless technology, so cool!

We did a bit of shopping and ate dinner before going to my grandma's house to watch the New Year fireworks. Hmm.. The fireworks was okay. I thought it was nice until I saw other countries' fireworks on news. Then I realised Singapore's fireworks is damn budget, same as the countdown event shown on TV. They always have the project superstars and Singapore Idol contestants to perform for all these big events. And as if it's not bad enough, they ask their 'talented' Mediacorp artistes to do song and dance performances. Oh well... They should invite more professional singers to perform, considering the audience have to buy tickets to watch it at Vivo.

Hmm... 2006 has officially come to an end. It had been an eventful year. A year full of new experiences. Worked for quite a long period at the beginning of the year and got to know what is office politics and see the ugly side of people. I'm not totally upset by that, it's been a good learning experience and a good warning of how working life will be after graduation. The later part of the year, uni life started and I moved into hall. I can say that living in hall really makes me more independent and more appreciative of people's kindness, especially my family. It had been an emotional year for me too. My emotion department has been quite turbulent. But now, I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Just do my best in everything I want and believe in, if things don't work out right, just give it up and let it go.

Okay, let me lay down my New Year Resolutions!

Stay positive and determined on life. =)
Don't procastinate my work, especially lab reports.
DO NOT FALL ASLEEP DURING LECTURES!!! I've been sleeping a lot during lectures in the last sem, so it's good time now to put a stop to it!
In order to fulfil the above resolution, I have to SLEEP EARLY! Hopefully, I'll sleep before 2 a.m. , have to make allowance for some late night meetings and last minute crammings (ehh.. I should refer to no. 2 =\).
Obtain good results for all my tests and exams. Maybe a bit impossible, but still must put as resolution, for beauty's sake. =P
Spend more time with my family!
Master my parking skills!!! It's still very horrendous, I feel so embarassed whenever I have to park at outside. Haiz... And my dad won't let the new car come if I can't park properly. =\
Keep my notes organise and clean my room at least once a week. I'm sick of the filthy conditions of my hall! =S
Do running regularly. At least once a week? Heh...
For the last resolution... Hmm.. Hopefully, I can make more new friends and strengthen my friendships with my present friends. =)

That's about it for my first post in 2007! HAPPY NEW YEAR to everybody once again! =D I shall start to work on resolution no. 4 which is sleep early!
