Life's like this...

Hall 8... Level 6!!!

Today, Jw and I went to collect our room keys. There were a lot of cars at NTU, due to the convocation ceremony I think. I got a shock of my life when I was given the keys, my room is on the 6th floor!!! And there is no lift!!! ARGH!!! Hence, my MSN nickname, "Heaven is punishing for not doing exercise." Now, 7 months worth of exercise is thrown back at me, all at one go.

When we got to our room, our next-door neighbours were already there cleaning. We made friends with them even before stepping into our room. So fast! Then we started cleaning and inspecting the room for any defects. There were some small defects, so we went down to the office to inform them. Unfortunately, the staff were on lunchbreak. So we made a wasted trip and have to climb up the endless flight of stairs again.... =
Luckily, our dear mummy came along to help us. The room is really really DIRTY!! Thick layer of dust and dead insects lying everywhere. The mop and the wiping cloths turned black. So horrible! =S Okay, maybe I'm overreacting because I don't do a lot of house chores... Well, the more horrid thing has yet to come. My mum found some stuff left by the previous owner. There's 2 jigsaw puzzles, one is 'Prince of Tennis' and the other one is 'All metal Alchemist', there's also 2 ping pong balls. Guess what we found next? Some manga sketches of X-rated content!! -faints- Why the hell are they in my room? I felt kinda embarassed 'cause my mum was there... -_-"

Later, some girls came to check in to their room. They borrowed some cleaning equipment from us as they didn't bring any. By the time we finished cleaning the room, we were all dead tired. Just as we were going off, the girls came to offer us some birthday cake becuase they couldn't finish. So nice!! Chocolate cake from Bengawan Solo... Reminds of the monthly birthday celebrations during JC days... Well, going back to that den tomorrow to move the rest of our stuff in. It's going to be an ardous task. No kidding... Hahaz... =P
